KEY PRODUCT CHANGES EFFECTIVE FROM SATURDAY 26th JULY
Tracker and Fixed Rate Changes
With effect from Saturday 26th July Bank of Scotland will be making selected improvements to its Mainstream and Large Loan product range.
In our Mainstream range we are reducing selected 2 and 3 year tracker rates by 0.10%.
In our Large Loan range we are reducing selected tracker and fixed rates by between 0.10% and 0.45%. Selected arrangement fees will also be reduced by between 0.10% and 0.50%.
In order to prepare for these changes, we will be removing the following products from our current product range. Applications for these products should be received by 5pm on Friday 25th July.
Remember - a full application must be submitted prior to the above deadline to secure the rate.

Bank of Scotland Bank Rate is currently 5.00% (variable), Home Loan Rate is currently 7.35% (variable).
The remortgage service is open to all new Bank of Scotland customers who currently have a mortgage with another lender (The remortgage service is not available where the security property is unencumbered). The Bank of Scotland will pay for an assessment of the property to be remortgaged when carried out by our panel valuer. Please note that this valuation is for our lending purposes only and a copy will not be released to the intermediary or the client. The remortgage service is only available when one of our remortgage panel conveyancers is instructed. We will instruct and pay for our conveyancer to carry out the legal work in connection with the remortgage transaction. Please note this relates only to standard mortgage conveyancing and the cost of any additional work required must be met by the client. The Remortgage Service is not available to packaged applications.
